530 AIR HAVOC ROYAL CANADIAN AIR CADET SQUADRON
Welcome to 530 Air Havoc RCACS. The Cadet Program provides opportunities for youth of age 12 - 18 to gain valuable knowledge and skills that build confidence and help pave the way in a transition to adulthood.

SQUADRON SPONSORING COMMITTEE (SSC)

The Air Cadet program is offered through partnership between Department of National Defense (DND - responsible for the training and development of cadets) and the Air Cadet League of Canada (ACL - responsible for supporting the training and development programs). This partnership is broken down to provincial (for Ontario – Ontario Provincial Committee), regional (Squadron Directors) and local roles.
At the Squadron level, the DND side is represented by our Squadron staff (Officers and Civilian Volunteers). The Squadron Sponsoring Committee (SSC) is the local representative of the Air Cadet League of Canada. The SSC works in partnership with the Squadron staff to support the local training program in order to achieve the goals of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets.
#530 "HAVOC" Squadron Sponsoring Committee (SSC):
At #530, the SSC is composed of interested parents volunteers (of current and former cadets) and representatives of our Sponsors, 404 K-W Wing R.C.A.F.A and Branch 530 Legion. We also have representation of our Ontario Provincial Committee (OPC) through a Squadron Director.
