WHAT IS CADET365?
Cadet365 is the official communication platform used by the Royal Canadian Air Cadet Program and is the primary way 530 Havoc Squadron communicates with cadets and parents. Through Microsoft Teams, cadets receive important announcements, event information, training resources, sign-up forms, flight chats, and squadron updates.
We encourage all cadets to regularly monitor their Cadet365 account and Teams notifications to stay informed and ensure they do not miss important deadlines, activities, or opportunities throughout the training year.
WHY DO WE USE IT?
Cadet365 is the official and secure communication platform for the Cadet Program. Unlike public websites and social media, Cadet365 is accessible only to authorized cadets and staff, ensuring that squadron information is shared safely and in accordance with Canadian Armed Forces communication, privacy, and records retention policies.
To protect the privacy of our cadets and families, detailed information such as event instructions, announcements, sign-up forms, flight chats, training resources, and schedules are not posted on our public website. Instead, all official squadron communication is shared through Microsoft Teams.
We strongly encourage both cadets and parents to become familiar with the platform, as it will be the primary source of information throughout the training year.
MICROSOFT TEAMS ACCOUNT

Each cadet will receive their own Cadet365 account a few weeks after completing registration and being officially enrolled in the squadron.

Account information, including your username and temporary password, will be provided once your account has been created.
*Please note that only your Cadet365 account can be used to access the squadron's Microsoft Teams environment. Personal Microsoft accounts (such as Outlook, Hotmail, or Microsoft 365 accounts) will not have access to squadron Teams channels or resources.

Once your account has been activated, we recommend logging in as soon as possible, downloading the Microsoft Teams app on your preferred device, and enabling notifications to stay up to date with squadron announcements, event sign-ups, and important communications.

Sign-In to Cadet365
You can sign into your account through the Microsoft Office 365 sign-in web page on your preferred web browser (i.e. Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox).
